I had to take the time and write a review after almost being scared off by so many reviews mentioning cuts, difficulty of use, etc. I'd never used a razor like this (single blade, weighted, etc.) and was previously using a 5-blade Billie, disposables before that. Found this on sale and got sucked in by the gorgeous packaging.

Was pretty nervous to try it the first time, but after going SO slowly and carefully at first.. I realized I didn't even need to?? Literally there's nothing to it! I shave the exact same way I have in the past and get the closest shave I've ever gotten. I haven't gotten a single cut or any discomfort. I used the shave pillow balm that came in the kit, then tried my Dr. Bronners liquid soap (what I've always used) and the results seemed exactly the same. I like the shave pillow though and will continue to use it.

I even shaved my bikini line the other day and not only didn't get cut, but came away without a single razor bump or bit of irritation?? Which has NEVER happened to me before. This was last week and I still don't even have any stubble.

Apparently a lot of people are shaving in a pretty different way, so maybe be careful at first I guess in case that's you? But just had to come say that my fears were totally unwarranted and this razor is incredible. It's so easy and comfortable and I'm hooked. Customer for life now, please never stop making this. ♡

I’ve been using Hanni for a little over a year now and love it!!!

Although it is a bit of a learning curve, applying less pressure and being a bit more intentional when shaving, it’s totally worth it!

My body hair grows back by the end of the day to an uncomfortable length. Before Hanni I would shave daily and often have razor bumps from how frequent I had to shave as well as the blades dulling quickly on my thicker hair. Hanni being a single blade razor has taken away all razor bumps and given me an extra day and half of having to shave! Which has been a blessing. If I do need a fast shave I still use a 5 blade razor. Which I always get bumps from immediately so I try to avoid using it!! But taking the time to shave with Hanni always pays off. I definitely had to learn to press lighter, causing a few nicks my first couple weeks because of applying pressure! So definitely something to be aware of when starting. But the weight of Hannis is the best! I’ve used other single blade razors that are metal and their weight applied just isn’t enough or is too much! I love Hannis weight and momentum!

The blades last forever! And switching them is easy. I haven’t had to buy a refill yet!

Recommend to anyone with thicker hair, sensitive skin, or struggling with razor bumps from frequent shaving or thick hair problems!
